These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the English Master mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by English Master ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with permission from your parent or legal guardian.
English Master is completely free of charge. We do not sell subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid content. To keep the shared AI features affordable and available to all learners, we apply generous daily usage limits per account. If you exceed a limit, please wait until the following day.

The Service uses AI models (OpenAI, via Emergent LLM proxy) to generate lessons, translations, feedback, and transcripts. AI output can be inaccurate. You should not rely on AI-generated content for critical decisions (medical, legal, financial). We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (text, voice recordings, photos). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., transcribing your speech, evaluating your writing).
The Service, including its content, logos, and software, is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE OF CHARGE, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where English Master is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer-protection laws.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
